Kerang BESS
Kerang Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a proposed 2-hour 103 MW battery located on private land adjacent to the Kerang Terminal Station, south of Kerang, Victoria. The Project received Development Approval from Gannawarra Shire Council in 2012, and grid connection approval (5.3.4A&B) from AEMO in late 2023. Construction is expected to commence late 2024.
The project is being developed as part of ACE Power’s commitment to help Australia transition to a clean energy future.

The project will be located on private land off Loddon Valley Highway, adjacent to the Kerang Terminal Station south of Kerang in regional Victoria.
