Kincraig Battery

Kincraig Battery is a proposed 150 MW 4-hour Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located on private land adjacent to the ElectraNet 132 kV Kincraig substation in regional South Australia. The project is currently undertaking development and grid connection activities alongside community consultation. The project will assist in firming South Australia’s electricity network and improving network resilience.

The project is being developed as part of ACE Power’s commitment to facilitate Australia’s energy transition.

Community Information

ACE Power has commenced environmental surveys alongside community consultation activities. Engagement with ElectraNet is underway to facilitate the connection of the battery to Kincraig substation.
