Paterson Battery
Paterson Battery is a proposed 150 MW 4-hour Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located on private land east of Western Power’s 132 kV Pinjarra substation. The project is currently undertaking development and grid connection activities alongside community consultation. The project will assist in firming Western Australia’s electricity network and improving network resilience.
The project is being developed as part of ACE Power’s commitment to facilitate Australia’s energy transition.

Community Information
ACE Power has commenced environmental surveys alongside community consultation activities. Engagement with Western Power is underway to facilitate the connection of the battery to Pinjarra substation.
