Narrogin Solar Farm
Narrogin Solar Farm & Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is proposed as a 200 MWDC solar farm and 4-hour 200 MW battery located on private land south of the township of Narrogin in regional Western Australia. The project will connect to the grid at the Narrogin South Substation to enable power to be exported into the Wholesale Electricity Market.
If approved and constructed, the land will remain under agricultural management with sheep able to graze amongst the solar panels.
The project is being developed as part of ACE Power’s commitment to help Australia transition to a clean energy future.

Location
The project will be located off Wanerie Road and the Great Southern Highway on private land approximately 4 km south of Narrogin in regional Western Australia.
Community Information
The proposed solar farm and associated BESS facility is being co-developed by ACE Power and ARP Australian Solar.
ACE and ARP have commenced preliminary assessments and community consultation activities. The project team welcomes feedback from the community regarding the proposed project.
In due course the project team will commence preparation of the necessary assessments required to form part of the development approval process in accordance with local and state planning regulations.
