PA ROOGA Wind Farm
Pa rooga Wind Farm is a proposed wind farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) located on private land south of the township of Prairie in the Flinders Shire Council region of North Queensland. The project will connect into the proposed CopperString transmission network to enable power to be exported into the National Electricity Market.
If approved and constructed, livestock grazing can continue on over 98% of the 30,000 hectare site.
The project is being developed as part of ACE Power’s commitment to help Australia transition to a clean energy future.
