Raglan Battery
Raglan Battery is a proposed 500 MW 4-hour Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to be located on private land outside Gladstone in regional Queensland. The battery will be connected into Powerlink’s 275 kV substation. The Application for Development Approval has been submitted and is currently being assessed by Gladstone Regional Council. In March 2025, DCCEEW determined that the project is not a controlled action under the EPBC Act. The project is being developed as part of ACE Power’s commitment to help Australia transition to a clean energy future.500 MW / 2000 MWh
